Article I. Introductory provisions and definitions
These general terms and conditions (the “terms”) govern the rights and obligations in the sale of goods through the online shop paatchi.com (the “shop”).
The operator of the shop and the seller is Paatchi s.r.o., registered office Podkerepušky 2717/32, 841 06 Bratislava, Slovak Republic, company ID (IČO): 52 867 196, tax ID (DIČ): 2121188212, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III (Slovakia), section: Sro, file No. 143373/B (the “seller”). The seller is not a VAT payer.
The buyer is anyone who submits an order through the shop. A consumer is a buyer who is a natural person not acting within the scope of their business, employment or profession when concluding and performing the contract. Provisions on consumer rights apply to consumers only.
Seller's contact details: e-mail [email protected], phone +421 911 86 86 06, registered office address stated above.
The buyer agrees to communication by electronic means, in particular by e-mail and phone.
Article II. Price
All prices in the shop are final. The seller is not a VAT payer, so no VAT is added to the prices.
Prices are shown in the currency of the delivery country — Czech crowns (CZK) for delivery to the Czech Republic, otherwise euros (EUR).
The price shown in the shop at the moment the order is submitted applies to the purchase contract. The price of shipping and any cash-on-delivery surcharge is shown before the order is submitted.
Article III. Order and conclusion of the contract
The buyer creates an order in the shop by selecting goods, filling in their details and choosing the shipping and payment method. Before submitting, the buyer can check and correct all details.
By submitting the order with the button indicating an obligation to pay, the buyer confirms having read these terms and the privacy policy and undertakes to pay the purchase price.
After submitting the order, the buyer receives an e-mail confirming its receipt together with the invoice. The purchase contract is concluded when the seller accepts the order, at the latest when the goods are dispatched.
An order paid by bank transfer is valid for 14 days. If the buyer does not pay the full purchase price within this period, the order is deemed cancelled.
The seller may cancel an order if the goods cannot be delivered (e.g. they are no longer produced or are unavailable) or due to force majeure, and also if the buyer has provided false or unverifiable details. The seller informs the buyer of the cancellation by e-mail without delay and refunds any amount already paid within 14 days at the latest.
The buyer may cancel an order that has not yet been dispatched free of charge by e-mail to [email protected].
Article IV. Payment terms
The buyer can pay as follows:
a. by card online, or via Apple Pay or Google Pay — the payment is processed by the Stripe payment gateway and the amount is charged when the order is submitted,
b. by bank transfer — payment details and a QR code are sent to the buyer by e-mail; payments in euros are made to the seller's Slovak account, payments in crowns to the seller's Czech account; the goods are dispatched once the payment is credited,
c. cash on delivery — only for delivery to Slovakia and the Czech Republic; a surcharge under Article VI is added to the shipping price.
The seller may offer discounts (e.g. discount codes). Discounts cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.
Article V. Delivery terms
The seller dispatches goods in stock as soon as possible according to its capacity, and for bank transfers once the payment is credited. The goods will be delivered no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded, unless agreed otherwise.
If part of the ordered goods is not in stock, the seller informs the buyer and agrees on how to proceed (partial delivery, waiting for delivery or cancelling part of the order).
Goods are delivered by Packeta, either to a pickup point (in Slovakia and the Czech Republic also to a Z-BOX) or to an address; abroad also through its contractual partners.
The buyer receives the invoice, which also serves as the delivery note, by e-mail; registered buyers can also find it in their customer account.
The place of performance is the place to which the goods are delivered. The risk of damage to the goods passes to the buyer upon receipt.
When receiving the parcel, the buyer must check that it is intact. If the packaging is visibly damaged, we recommend refusing the parcel or recording the damage with the carrier and contacting us without delay.
Article VI. Shipping and surcharges
Shipping to Slovakia: to a Packeta pickup point or Z-BOX €3.60, home delivery €6.20. For cash on delivery, €1 is added to the shipping price. Shipping is free for orders over €110 (the cash-on-delivery surcharge still applies).
Shipping to the Czech Republic: to a Packeta pickup point or Z-BOX CZK 114, home delivery CZK 160. For cash on delivery, CZK 50 is added to the shipping price. Shipping is free for orders over CZK 2,900 (the cash-on-delivery surcharge still applies).
Shipping to Austria: home delivery €7. Cash on delivery is not offered for this country.
Shipping to Germany: to a pickup point or to your address €9. Cash on delivery is not offered for this country.
For shipping to other countries, the price is agreed individually.
If the seller dispatches the order in several parts, the buyer is not charged any additional postage for the further parcels.
Article VII. Transfer of ownership
Ownership of the goods passes to the buyer once the purchase price has been paid in full.
Article VIII. Right of withdrawal without giving reasons
Under Slovak Consumer Protection Act No. 108/2024 (and the mandatory rules of the consumer's country of residence), the consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods (for several parcels, from receipt of the last one). The consumer may also withdraw before receiving the goods.
Withdrawal can be made by any unequivocal statement, in particular: online on the “Withdrawal from contract” page linked in the shop's footer (logged-in buyers also directly at the order in their account), by e-mail to [email protected] or by letter to the seller's registered office. The consumer may use the model withdrawal form available for download on the “Withdrawal from contract” page. The deadline is met if the consumer sends the withdrawal before it expires.
The seller confirms receipt of the withdrawal by e-mail without delay (with the date and time of receipt).
The consumer must return the goods to the seller's registered office no later than 14 days after withdrawing, and not cash on delivery. The consumer bears the cost of returning the goods.
The seller refunds all payments received from the consumer, including delivery costs (up to the cheapest delivery option offered), no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal, using the same payment method the consumer used, unless agreed otherwise. The seller is not obliged to refund before receiving the goods or before the consumer provides proof of sending them.
The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
The consumer cannot withdraw in particular from contracts for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised — for example shoe covers printed with a logo to order.
Article IX. Rights and obligations of the parties
The buyer must take delivery of the ordered goods and pay the agreed price.
The seller must deliver the goods in the agreed quantity, quality and price and provide the documents for the goods, in particular the invoice, together with them or by e-mail.
Article X. Personal data protection
We process the buyer's personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 on personal data protection. Details — which data we process, for what purpose, who we share them with, how long we keep them and what rights the buyer has — are set out in the Privacy Policy published in the shop.
Article XI. Out-of-court dispute resolution and supervisory authority
If the consumer is not satisfied with how a complaint was handled or believes that the seller has violated their rights, they may ask the seller for redress at [email protected]. If the seller rejects the request or does not reply within 30 days of it being sent, the consumer has the right to file a proposal for alternative dispute resolution under Slovak Act No. 391/2015 on alternative resolution of consumer disputes.
The alternative dispute resolution body is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, www.soi.sk) or another authorised entity listed by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic; the consumer may choose. A consumer residing in another EU country may also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net), which helps with cross-border disputes.
The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection, Inspectorate for the Bratislava Region, Prievozská 32, 820 07 Bratislava, Slovak Republic.
Article XII. Final provisions
Legal relationships not governed by these terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, in particular the Slovak Civil Code (Act No. 40/1964), Consumer Protection Act No. 108/2024, Electronic Commerce Act No. 22/2004 and, for buyers who are not consumers, the Commercial Code (Act No. 513/1991).
If the buyer is a consumer residing in another member state of the European Union, these terms do not deprive them of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
The seller may change these terms. An order is always governed by the version in force when it was submitted; the current version is published in the shop.
The complaints procedure below forms an integral part of these terms.
These terms take effect on 8. 10. 2026.
These terms are a translation of the Slovak version; in case of doubt, the Slovak version prevails, without prejudice to the consumer's rights under the mandatory law of their country of residence.
Complaints procedure
integral part of the general terms and conditions
The seller is liable for the goods being free of defects upon receipt. If the buyer is a consumer, the seller is liable for defects that become apparent within 24 months of receipt. If the buyer is not a consumer, the warranty period is 12 months and the Commercial Code applies.
The buyer can make a complaint by e-mail to [email protected] or by letter to the seller's registered office, stating the order number, a description of the defect and the preferred remedy; photos are helpful. If the seller asks for the goods to be sent, the buyer sends them to the registered office (not cash on delivery). For a justified complaint, the seller reimburses the necessary costs of sending the goods.
The seller confirms receipt of the complaint to the buyer without delay (e.g. by e-mail). The day the seller receives the complaint is deemed the day it was made.
The seller decides on how to handle the complaint without delay and resolves it no later than 30 days after it was made, issuing a written confirmation (by e-mail). If the complaint is not resolved within this period, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract or request replacement of the goods.
For a remediable defect, the buyer is entitled to have it remedied free of charge, properly and in time, or to a replacement if this does not cause the seller disproportionate costs. For an irremediable defect that prevents proper use, the buyer is entitled to a replacement, an appropriate discount or withdrawal from the contract.
Liability for defects does not cover normal wear and tear, mechanical damage caused by the buyer or defects resulting from improper use, care or use contrary to the purpose of the goods.
